Pros:

Strong finisher around the basket
Decent low post scorer

Decent defender
Solid shot blocker
Above average athlete
Good motor

Cons:

Needs to improve his face-up game
Needs to extend his shooting range
Can be reluctant to take outside shots
Can struggle to protect the basketball
Can be undisciplined defensively
A bit undersized to play inside
Can struggle against length and athleticism

Summary:

Trayce Jackson-Davis is an athletic, energetic big man that can score in the post, rebound, and block shots to help his team on both ends of the floor.  He is a very good scorer and rebounder in the paint, but he may need to improve his face-up game and on-ball defense.  He had good sophomore and junior seasons, and he currently projects to go in the second round in the 2023 draft.
