Congratulations to the New York Knicks for Winning the NBA Championship

Congratulations to the New York Knicks for winning the NBA championship! They won a hard fought series in 5 games over Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs, and Knicks’ superstar point guard Jalen Brunson was named the MVP. A most hearty, congratulations to the New York Knicks.

Jalen Brunson averaged 32.6 points, 4.6 assists, 4.2 rebounds, and 2 steals per game while making 39% of his threes in the 2026 NBA Finals, and his 45-point performance in Game 5 was a fantastic showing that helped the Knicks clinch the title.

It also helped that the Knicks had terrific chemistry, as he had his teammates from Villanova in Mikal Bridges and Josh Hart, mixed in with other talented stars around him in Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby, with other very talented players behind them to help round out their supporting cast. In addition, head coach Mike Brown did a terrific job in coaching the New York Knicks, as they earned their title win this year.

Also, they have a great group of fans, and they were really passionate in rooting for their team. And major props to Karl-Anthony- Towns for making a cameo and having a scene with superstar actress and Knicks’ superfan Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada 2. That was a really fun scene to watch.

So kudos to the New York Knicks for winning the 2026 NBA championship. And kudos to Jalen Brunson for winning the NBA Finals MVP award. It also sends a positive message that the little guys can be the best players of their team at the highest level, especially if they have the drive, and are really, really good at basketball. It was a fantastic basketball season all around this year.

Other Notes:

On a sad note, R.I.P. Brandon Clarke, a longtime Memphis Grizzlies forward who passed away far too soon. He was a standout basketball player that had a stellar career at Gonzaga, and he was a solid NBA role player. He will be missed by the basketball community.
