Summary:
RaiQuan Gray is an athletic, high-motor combination forward that may project to be a defensive specialist at the next level. He has played well against high-level competition, as he’s had 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists in a win over Indiana, and he also scored 17 points in a win over Louisville.
On the other hand, he can be quite inconsistent, as he’s also had his fair share of woeful shooting nights in which he only scored in single digits this season. Gray was a solid role player on a very good Florida State team this season. He’ll need to improve his outside shot and be a more consistent performer in games, but his athleticism, motor, and playmaking potential could make him an intriguing option for NBA teams in the second round range of the 2021 draft.
