Josh Christopher

Updated on 12/11/20.  Written by Alan Lu.

Height: 6-4
Weight: 210
College: Arizona State
Classification: Freshman
Birthdate: 12/8/2001

Projected Draft Range: Mid 1st Round

Pros:

Decent scorer off the dribble
Adequate playmaker
Good rebounder for his size
Decent defender that can get steals and blocks
Very good athlete

Cons:

Needs to improve his shooting
Prone to hoisting up questionable shots
Can tend to be a bit of a ball stopper
Can be too ball dominant
Can be undisciplined defensively

Summary:

Josh Christopher is a very athletic combo guard that can take the ball to the rim to score the basketball, and he can finish plays above the rim.  He’ll need to improve his jump shot and he can tend to force up too many rushed shots, which can hurt his shooting percentages.  Still, he is a talented prospect that could make an immediate impact at Arizona State this year, and he could be a first round pick in 2021.
