Adept at getting steals
Above average athlete
Solid motor

Cons:

Lacks an elite first step off the dribble

Summary:

Johnell Davis is a strong, agile combo guard that can score the basketball in a variety of ways. He can shoot it from deep, post up on the block, and he also can take it to the rim to score off the dribble. He will need to improve his playmaking skills and he may need to show that he can reliably run the point at higher levels, but he is a productive player at the collegiate level, and he could end up landing on an NBA summer league roster in the future.
