Brief Recap and Picks For The 2026 All-NBA Draft Combine Scrimmage Teams

Recently, there were four games that were played at the 2026 NBA Draft Combine, and there were a handful of really strong performances throughout this past month. The biggest and most welcome surprise is Baylor’s Cameron Carr deciding to play in a scrimmage game, where he scored 30 points and made 6 threes in his first NBA combine scrimmage game.

Baylor’s Cameron Carr scored 30 points and made 6 threes in his lone combine scrimmage game, and he is a tremendously athletic and skilled swingman that could be a lottery pick in the 2026 draft.

Others also played really well throughout those games. Here is a brief recap, as well as picks for the 2026 All-NBA Draft Combine Scrimmage teams.

Game 1: Team Carpenter 95, Team Adams 84

For Team Carpenter, Matthew Able made his presence felt by scoring 15 points and he made 3 threes to provide blistering outside shooting and scoring prowess.

Emanuel Sharp scored 17 points and made 3 threes off the bench. Jaden Bradley had 10 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds, while Rueben Chinyelu scored 13 points, and Maliq Brown scored 12 points, blocked two shots, made all four of his field goals, and also made his lone three pointer.

For Team Adams, Baba Miller played really well, as he scored 20 points on 6 of 10 shooting, made 2 threes, and he also had 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals, as he showed off strong all-around skills.

John Blackwell also scored 16 points, made two threes, and had 5 rebounds off the bench.

Game 2: Team Rivers 105, Team Weems 99

Cameron Carr and Ja’Kobi Gillespie combined for 58 of Team Rivers’ 105 points to get their team the victory over Team Weems.

For Team Rivers, Cameron Carr dominated, as he scored 30 points, made 6 threes, and had 7 rebounds and 2 blocks in this game, as he was clearly the best player on the floor, both before the game, and during the game.

That said, Ja’Kobi Gillespie also had a tremendous performance, as he had 28 points, made 5 threes, and he also had 5 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block to help Team Rivers get the win.

In addition, Jeremy Fears Jr. scored 17 points and had 5 assists. Dillon Mitchell had 7 points, but he showed great versatility by grabbing 10 rebounds and dished out 8 assists in this game.

For Team Weems, Nick Boyd had 23 points and 8 assists, as he showed some solid offensive skills. Otega Oweh did a very good job of scoring the basketball, as he scored 20 points. Also, Nick Martinelli scored 18 points, and Tyler Tanner also had 13 points and 5 assists.

Game 3: Team Rivers 100, Team Carpenter 76

Team Rivers won handily, as they were the only team to be undefeated after two games at this event.

Ryan Conwell scored 21 points, made 5 threes, and had 4 assists, as he did a great job of shooting and scoring the basketball, but he also showed off some solid playmaking skills in addition.

Ja’Kobi Gillespie continued to play well, as he had 15 points, made 3 threes, and had 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

Dillon Mitchell had a great game and showed off significant versatility, as he had 13 points on 6 of 6 shooting, and had 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal. Trevon Brazile scored 16 points, made 2 threes, and had 9 rebounds.

Also, Jacob Cofie scored 12 points, made 2 threes, and he also blocked 3 shots to showcase his intriguing skill set. Jeremy Fears had 9 points and dished out 11 assists, as he was an assist collecting machine, but also had some turnover troubles, too.

For Team Carpenter, Rueben Chinyelu added 14 points and had 15 rebounds to anchor the middle for their team. Matthew Able scored 17 points and made 4 threes, as he had a good tournament, and surely will see a boost in his draft stock. Noam Yaacov also dished out 7 assists.

Game 4: Team Adams 94, Team Weems 76

For Team Adams, Tarris Reed turned in a strong showing, as he scored 17 points, and had 5 rebounds and 2 blocks, as he got the job done well on both ends of the floor.

Baba Miller continued to play well, as he had 13 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists, and he showed great versatility at this event. Felix Okpara and Aaron Nkrumah both played well, as they each scored 15 points, and Nkrumah made 3 threes. Braden Smith dished out 7 assists. Billy Richmond III scored 11 points off the bench.

For Team Weems, Otega Oweh scored 21 points and did a great job of consistently getting to the rim to consistently score and get free throws. Nick Martinelli scored 13 points, and Flory Bidunga also had 10 points.

2026 All-NBA Draft Combine Scrimmage 1st Team:

Cameron Carr scored 30 points, made 6 threes, and grabbed 7 rebounds in a win in his only combine scrimmage game, as he put forth a superb display from the get-go, and it was clear that the potential lottery pick is overqualified for this event. Still, it’s great that he showed up to play nonetheless, and it shows NBA teams that he is a competitor that is willing to compete and prove his worth.

Ja’Kobi Gillespie scored 28 points in his first combine scrimmage game, and he ended up averaging 21.5 points and 4 assists per game while making 52% from the field, and 50% of his three-pointers, as he led Team Rivers to a 2-0 record.

Baba Miller showed off strong all-around skills, as the 6-10 forward averaged 15.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1 steal per game in both games he played at this event. He made 53% from the field, 43% of his threes, 91% of his free throws, and did not commit a single turnover in these combine scrimmage games.

Dillon Mitchell also showed off great versatility, as he averaged 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists per game at this event, posted a 6 to 1 Assist-to-Turnover ratio, made 67% from the field, and helped lead Team Rivers to a 2-0 record here.

Otega Oweh did a great job of scoring the basketball, and he averaged 21.5 points per game at this event. He was a scoring machine at this event, and he also rebounded well.

2026 All-NBA Draft Combine Scrimmage 2nd Team:

Jeremy Fears averaged 13 points, 8 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists per game, he made 50% from the field, and he also helped lead Team Rivers to a 2-0 record. He dished out 11 assists in the second game, and he is building his reputation as an assist collecting machine, which could significantly help his case to be selected in the 2026 draft.

Ryan Conwell averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game at this event, and he also made 55% of his threes in both of the games. He excelled as a scorer and playmaker, and he showed that he has the ability to smoothly run the point when the ball is in his hands.

Matthew Able did a good job of scoring the basketball in both games, and he’s proved himself to be a more than capable floor spacing wing. He averaged 16 points per game and made 50% of his three-pointers, and Able could prove to be an intriguing option for NBA teams to select in the 2026 draft.

Jacob Cofie has shown intriguing versatility, as he is a 6-10 sophomore forward from USC that was able to make threes and block shots, and he is a versatile player that may have a similar game to former Toronto Raptors’ forward, Chris Boucher. Cofie averaged 9 points and 2 blocks per game at this event, and he also made two three-pointers in these games.

Maliq Brown averaged 10 points per game, as he made all eight of his field goals in both of the games, and he also averaged 5.5 rebounds per game, as he was the hallmark of efficiency, and he showed that he can be the consummate role player when he is on the floor.

2026 All-NBA Draft Combine Scrimmage 3rd Team:

Nick Martinelli averaged 15.5 points per game in both of the games, and he excelled as a scorer in these games.

Trevon Brazile showed some intriguing skills with his scoring versatility, and he also rebounded and defended well at this event. In these two games, he averaged 12.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, and he was a +17 total.

Aaron Nkrumah averaged 10 points and 4 rebounds per game, and he is a 6-6 wing player that made 38% of his threes at this event.

Nick Boyd scored 23 points and had 8 assists in his first game at the event, and he averaged 12.5 points, 6.5 assists, and 4 rebounds per game, and made 33% of his threes in both of the games he played.

The last spot here was very tough to decide from, but Flory Bidunga checked most of the boxes here. He averaged 9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1 steal per game, and made 69% from the field. He was efficient as a scorer, and passed and rebounded the ball well at this event.
