Summary:

Taevion Kinsey is an athletic, skilled combo guard that could project to be a solid role player in the NBA.  He can score the basketball in a variety of ways.  He has a quick first step to the hoop, and he is a good mid-range shooter that gets great elevation on his shot.  He also can score in the post as well as on off-ball motion plays.

He also is an unselfish player that will move the basketball, and he also will challenge shots to force misses defensively.  Recently, Kinsey announced that he will return for his senior season next year. Kinsey will need to improve his three-point shot and be a more consistently focused defender in games, but his ability to score combined with his athleticism could make him an intriguing option for NBA teams in the second round of the 2023 draft.
