Updated as of 11/21/2020, scouting report written by Alan Lu.
2020 rankings were finalized on 11/17/20.

Height: 6-7
Weight: 220
College: Oregon
Classification: Redshirt Senior
Birthdate: 3/31/1996

Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Pros:

Excels at scoring on off-ball motion plays
Decent low post scorer
Very good rebounder
Very good defensive player
Good athlete
Very good motor

Cons:

Must extend his shooting range
Needs to improve his outside shot
Needs to improve his free throw shooting
Struggles to consistently create his own shot
Can be turnover prone
Does not collect enough steals or blocks
May be a classic tweener
Missed considerable time due to a knee injury
Old for a draft prospect, may have limited upside

Summary:

Shakur Juiston is an athletic, high motor combo forward that will crash the basket to garner points and rebounds in the paint for his team.

At 6-7, he will be undersized to play inside at the next level, and he will likely need to significantly improve his perimeter skills.  But there is no doubt that he was quite productive as a junior last year.  This season, he had some good games for Oregon, but has not really developed an outside shot and is not really a scorer, so he will need to expand upon his skill set on offense.  He may likely wind up going undrafted, but Juiston’s athleticism, motor, and defensive skills could potentially allow him to compete for a roster spot in the NBA.
