Height: 6-7
Weight: 210
College: SMU
Classification: Fifth-Year Senior
Birthdate: 9/7/2000

Projected Draft Range: Likely Undrafted

Pros:

Excels at scoring on off-ball motion plays
Solid mid-range shooter
Decent scorer off the dribble
Moves fairly well off the ball on offense
Very good rebounder
Adequate defender
Solid athlete
Good motor

Cons:

Needs to improve his outside shot
Doesn’t usually look to take threes
Lacks an elite first step off the dribble
Needs to improve his playmaking skills
Does not collect many steals
Can be undisciplined defensively

Summary:

Samuell Williamson is an athletic, skilled swingman that can shoot and pass the basketball.  He is an old-school type of player that likes to take and make mid-range jump shots, and he also is a fairly good position defender that will actively challenge shots.  He lacks elite foot speed, and he will need to take far more jump shots from long range, but Williamson may have the tools to end up being an effective role player in the NBA.
