Summary:

Phillip Wheeler is a strong, mobile high-motor combo forward that plays in the NBA G-League for Ciudad De México.  He played well in a January 7th game, as he scored 16 points and had 9 rebounds in his team’s win over the G-League Ignite.  He’s an energetic player that thrives at making hustle plays, but he will need to improve his outside shot.  Currently, he projects to be a borderline second round candidate for the 2022 draft.
