Summary:
Osasumwen Osaghae is an athletic, energetic big man that will make hustle plays to help his team on both ends of the floor. His strong shot blocking skills could potentially make him a candidate to vy for a spot in the NBA, or at least on a team’s summer league roster.
He placed in the top 10 in college basketball in field goal percentage and he also led the league blocks, and the rare combination of accomplishing that feat may make him a potential second round pick for the 2020 draft. On the downside, he’s a bit undersized to play the center position and hasn’t often faced elite competition, but he had a solid senior season this year, and in a favorable scenario, he could project to be an effective, rotational big man in the NBA.
