Solid defender
Solid athlete

Needs to improve his outside shot

Undersized for his position

Summary:

McKinley Wright is an athletic, skilled playmaker that had a solid junior season last year at Colorado.  He averaged roughly 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists per game as a junior.

He had a solid senior season, and he helped lead his team to get to the 2021 NCAA Tournament.  Wright can score on aggressive drives to the hoop, and he also can effectively run the team at the point.  He also is a good defender.  On the downside, he’s struggled with his outside shot this year, and his three-point percentage has tapered off significantly this season.  Right now, Wright projects to be a second round prospect for the 2021 draft.
