Kalob Ledoux

Updated on 6/26/22.  Written by Alan Lu.
2022 Rankings were finalized on 6/23/22.

Height: 6-3
Weight: 195
Country: USA (Lafayette, LA)
Professional Team: Santa Cruz Warriors
Classification: Automatically Draft-Eligible
Birthdate: 9/16/1997

Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Pros:

Solid shooter, especially from deep
Excels at scoring on off-ball motion plays
Adequate scorer off the dribble
Adequate playmaker
Decent rebounder for his size
Above average athlete

Cons:

Struggles to consistently create his own shot
Can be too scoring focused on offense
Can tend to be unfocused defensively
Not an elite athlete
Not a true point guard, but is undersized to play the two
Old for a draft prospect, may have limited upside

Summary:

Kalob Ledoux is an agile, skilled combo guard that can knock down jump shots to help his team space the floor on offense.  He had played college basketball at McNeese State and then recently at Louisiana Tech, and he helped lead them to get to the 2021 NIT last season. He will need to improve in the other areas of the game, but his ability to shoot the basketball could enable him to project into a shooting specialist off the bench in the NBA someday.
