Page updated as of 4/12/2020, scouting report written by Alan Lu.
2019 rankings were finalized on 6/19/2019.

Height: 6-5
Weight: 210
College: IPFW
Classification: Redshirt Senior
Birthdate: 3/22/1996

2019 Top 100 Prospect Rank: 90
Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Pros:

Fairly good shooter from all over the floor
Adequate scorer off the dribble
Excels at scoring on the move
Good playmaker
Moves well off the ball on offense
Good rebounder
Good defender that can get steals

Cons:

May have a slow release
Can be reluctant to take jumpers
Not an elite ball handler
Can be too passive on offense
Only an average athlete
Has a short wingspan
Has limited experience against top competition

Summary:

John Konchar is a stat-stuffing, small school combo guard that can help a team in a variety of ways.  But it may be uncertain as to how well he can play against more athletic players when facing tougher competition.  If he can produce against top notch teams, he could end up being a potential second round pick in 2019.
