Summary:
Javon Bess is a tough, physical swingman that could project to be a 3 and D type of role player in the NBA. After playing his first two seasons at Michigan State, Bess elected to transfer to Saint Louis, and he has played very well for the Billikens throughout his collegiate career.
He has played a key role in helping his team get to the 2019 NCAA Tournament, as Bess and Tramaine Isabell have formed a solid backcourt tandem this year. Bess will still need to improve his jump shot, but he is a smart, skilled player that could end up making an NBA team’s summer league roster this year.
