Summary:
Jalen Lecque is a speedy combo guard that can drive the ball to the basket to get scores for his team. He will need to improve his jump shot significant and be more of a distributor, and he will have to show that he can guard the upper echelon players on the court.
Curiously though, ESPN has him rated as a prospect for the 2019 draft, and they have him as a potential first round candidate. Lecque will be looking to follow the footsteps of Anfernee Simons. Lecque did not have a great first game in the combine, but he did show flashes of his potential, and he could be an intriguing long-term option for NBA teams to consider in the second round of this year’s draft.
