Classification: Fifth-Year Senior
Birthdate: 6/29/1999

Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Pros:

Solid finisher around the basket
Good low post scorer
Decent mid-range shooter
Excels at scoring on the move
Adequate playmaker
Decent rebounder
Solid athlete
Solid motor

Cons:

Needs to improve his free throw shooting
Needs to improve his face-up game
Can be too scoring focused on offense
Does not block enough shots
Can tend to have lapses defensively
Can be too inconsistent in games

Summary:

Garrison Brooks is an athletic, energetic big man that can score in the post, and he also is an underrated passer for a player his size.  He has a solid set of low post moves that he can use to score, and he also can make some mid-range jump shots.  He will need to improve his rebounding and will need to be a more disciplined defender on a consistent basis.  Recently, he entered the transfer portal, and he will be a fifth-year senior at Mississippi State next season.
