Summary:
Filip Petrusev is a skilled, mobile big man that can score the basketball in a variety of ways, and he played very well as a sophomore for Gonzaga. Petrusev is a skilled low post scorer that can score with his back to the basket, and he will frequently score on rolls to the rim. He also is a good rebounder, and he tends to be in the right spots defensively. He also showed a much improved outside shot and face-up game this past season.
On the other hand, he will need to show that he can guard upper-echelon players in games. Overall, he played very well in professional basketball overseas this season. Currently, Petrusev projects to go in the late first to the second round range in the 2021 draft.
