Summary:
E.J. Onu put up tremendous numbers in the NAIA, which netted him an invite to the 2021 G-League Elite Camp. He also tested to have a very long, 7’8.5″ wingspan, but he didn’t seem to make much of an impression in the G-League Elite Camp games. He didn’t take many shots, and he didn’t particularly shoot well at that event, but he did block plenty of shots. Currently, Onu projects to be a borderline second round candidate, and he projects into a rim protector role, as he could be a backup center at the NBA level.
