Height: 6-7
Weight: 240
College: UNC Wilmington
Classification: Senior
Birthdate: 10/8/1996

Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Pros:

Strong finisher around the basket
Excels at scoring on the move
Adequate low post scorer
Very good hands
Gifted rebounder
Good athlete
Very good motor
Strong production in his past two seasons

Cons:

Must extend his shooting range
Needs to improve his free throw shooting
Needs to improve his passing ability
Not an elite shot blocker
Can be foul prone
Has limited experience against top competition
May be a classic tweener

Summary:

Devontae Cacok is an undersized power forward that has been very productive for UNC Wilmington throughout his collegiate career.  He has been excelling as an efficient inside scorer and rebounder for them.

But it’s unclear if his game will translate well to the NBA, as he is undersized to play inside, and he will need to expand upon his perimeter skills to be a more versatile player.  Still, his strong production will likely help him earn a Portsmouth invite, and Cacok could potentially end up making an NBA team’s roster.
