Summary:

Daishen Nix is a smart, skilled playmaker that can comfortably play either backcourt position. He is a sound facilitator that can reliably run the point, and he has good court vision that allows him to rack up assists. He is a tough, physical player also can score in the post, and he also can score on aggressive drives to the basket.

On the other hand, he will need to improve his outside shot, as that can help open up the floor and allow for even more driving lanes for him. He also will need to improve his focus on the defensive end. Still, Nix’s ability to make plays with the ball in his hands and run the point could enable him to be selected by an NBA team in the second round in the 2021 draft.
