Summary:

Daishen Nix is a smart, skilled playmaker that can comfortably play either backcourt position.  He is a sound facilitator that can reliably run the point, and he has good court vision that allows him to rack up assists.  He also has versatile scoring skills, and he also excels at scoring on drives in transition.

On the other hand, he will need to trust his outside shot more, as that can help open up the floor and allow for even more driving lanes for him.  He also will need to cut down on his turnovers, as he can sometimes be a bit mistake-prone on offense.  Still, Nix’s ability to make plays with the ball in his hands and knock down shots could enable him to be a solid value pick for an NBA team in the first round of the 2021 draft.
