Summary:
Chris Boucher is an athletic, skilled big man that has an intriguing set of skills that could allow him to be a solid pick for an NBA team in the upcoming draft.
He possesses fairly good scoring skills. Boucher really excels at scoring on the move, as he can garner the bulk of his scores using off-ball movement. He plays far above the rim, which can allow him to throw down numerous dunks in games.
Plus, he also is a good shooter for a player his size. He shows a great willingness to space the floor, and he can really help his team stretch the defenses when he gets in a rhythm. He can tend to be streaky with his jump shot, but he has the potential to develop into a stretch big at the next level.
Also, he is a very good defensive player. He is a terrific shot blocker, as he has great length, athletic tools, and timing to do so. He has the ability to be an elite rim protector in the NBA, as he is an anchor on one of the top teams in the country. But he will need to add more strength in order to handle stronger opponents in the post.
In general, Chris Boucher is an interesting prospect. He possesses a unique skill package that could allow him to surpass initial expectations in the NBA. He will need to show that he can handle stronger opponents at the next level, but with his skill set, he could end up being a good role player in the league.
