Caleb Love is an athletic, skilled combo guard that came in as a highly touted recruit prior to enrolling at North Carolina. He is an aggressive scorer that can take the ball to the rim to score. He also is an active defender that can make numerous plays to help his team on that end of the floor. He will need to show that he can effectively run the point as he largely played off the ball in high school.
So far this season, he’s really struggled to consistently make shots or to effectively run the team at the point, but Love has shown flashes of his potential at times. Right now, his defense may be ahead of his offense, but he still has a long way to go as an overall player. Currently, he projects to be a borderline second round candidate in the 2021 draft.
