Summary:
Buddy Boeheim is a skilled, sharpshooting swingman that can shoot and pass the basketball.  He had a solid junior season in which he lead Syracuse to get to the 2021 NCAA Tournament.  He then scored 30 points and he made 7 three-pointers in his team’s first-round win over San Diego State in the 2021 NCAA Tournament, and he was a star in the NCAA tournament last season.

This year, Boeheim had an up and down senior season, but he played very well in his second game of the 2022 G-League Elite Camp. He will need to show NBA teams that he can effectively defend in a man-to-man scheme, and the adjustment from going from a zone to a man-to-man scheme may be a significant one.  Currently, Boeheim projects to be a borderline second round candidate in the 2022 draft.
