Decent shooter, especially from deep
Adequate scorer off the dribble
Can post up smaller players
Adequate playmaker
Solid athlete

Streaky shooter
Needs to improve his rebounding
Can be unfocused defensively
Not a true point guard, but is undersized to play the two
Only average size for his position

Boogie Ellis is an agile, skilled combo guard that can knock down plenty of jumpers when gets into a rhythm.  He also is a versatile scorer that is also a surprisingly good scorer in the post.  On the other hand, he can be quite streaky with his jump shot, and he will also need to show that he can effectively run the point.  He had a solid season at USC, and he also played well in the pre-draft camps. Currently, he projects to be a second round prospect for the 2024 draft.
