Pros:
Solid shooter
Decent scorer off the dribble
Excels at scoring on off-ball motion plays
Handles the ball fairly well
Good rebounder
Adequate defender that can get steals
Gifted athlete

Cons:
Streaky shooter
Can display spotty shot selection
Needs to improve his passing ability
Can be a bit of a ball stopper on offense
Can tend to force the issue too much on offense
Can be unfocused defensively

Summary:
Bennedict Mathurin is a very athletic, energetic swingman that can shoot and score the basketball.  He has significantly improved this season, and he has played very well this year. He had a strong 2022 NCAA Tournament this year, and he was tremendous in his team’s second round overtime win over TCU. On the other hand, he will need to improve his decision making skills and ability to play in a half-court offense. Mathurin projects to be a lottery pick in the 2022 draft.
