Ashton Hagans is a young, speedy point guard that reclassified to be in the 2018 recruiting class, and he enrolled to play at Kentucky. He is a pass-first point guard that will look to get assists, and he is also an aggressive defender that will go for steals.
However, there are plenty of things for him to work on to improve his game. He will need to significantly improve his jump shot, cut down on the turnovers, and he will have to be more disciplined defensively.
Some scouts may be high on Hagans, but he also may be far away from being ready to play in the NBA right now. If he puts in considerable work to hone his skills, he could then perhaps realize his full potential as an overall player.
