Summary:

Arnas Velicka is a skilled combo guard that is currently an early-entry candidate for the 2020 NBA Draft.  He has shown an improved jump shot this year, as he can knock down threes off the catch or dribble, and he is a crafty scorer that can finish plays above the rim.  So far, he’s played well in France’s top professional league, which could significantly improve his draft standing.

On the other hand, he can be inconsistent in knocking down outside shots, as he struggled to make three-point shots consistently in the LKL during the 2019-20 season, and he will also need to improve his defense.  He tends to struggle to guard opponents on screens, and he will need to improve his ability to guard quicker players in games.  Currently, Velicka projects to be a borderline second round candidate for the 2020 NBA Draft.
