Aleksa Radanov is an athletic swingman that plays like a tall point forward, and he received considerable playing time in the Adriatic League during the 2017-18 season, and he played fairly well for FMP Beograd. But in a rather curious move, he elected to go back to Crvena Zvezda, the team that had given him substantially less playing time before, only to again not play very much last season. But so far, Radanov is off to a very good start so far in professional basketball.
He is a good athlete as he can score on hustle plays, and he can throw down emphatic dunks to help his team on offense. Radanov also is an unselfish player that can handle the ball off of pick and rolls, and he is a skilled passer that can deftly find open teammates to set up scores.
On the other hand, he may struggle to consistently create shots for himself, especially in the half court, and he will need to be more consistent as a shooter. Radanov still may be a work in progress as an overall player, and he will need to play for a team that will give him ample playing time, but his athleticism, motor, budding skill level makes him a second round candidate for the 2020 draft.
