Summary:
Zach Edey is a strong, physical center that can overpower opponents in the middle to score, rebound, and block shots in the paint. He’ll need to expand upon his skill set on offense and show that he can match up to quicker, more athletic opponents. He had a very good junior season, as he has helped lead Purdue to many wins in college basketball, but they ended up being upset in the first round by 16th seeded Fairleigh Dickinson.
This year, Edey is had another very good season as he led Purdue to the championship game, and he’s also shown improved mobility this year. Also, since this year is regarding to be a weak draft, his stock has ascended to the point where he could be a lottery pick this year. Currently, he projects to go in the mid to late first round range for the 2024 draft.
