Summary:
Verner Kohs is a tall swingman that may project into a shooting specialist role at the next level. This year, he’s shot the ball well in Latvia’s top professional league.
However, he has also struggled in other basketball leagues previously, as he had trouble consistently making shots in both the LEB Gold and Silver leagues in years’ past. Kohs also may not contribute much in the other facets of the game, as he may likely be a one-dimensional shooter at higher levels.
Right now, Kohs will need to show that he can succeed at higher levels of international basketball, but his jump shot and athleticism could make him a potential second round pick for the upcoming draft.
