Pros:
Decent shooter, especially from deep
Decent scorer off the dribble
Good free throw shooter
Adequate playmaker
Adequate defender
Good athlete

Cons:
Streaky shooter
Prone to hoisting up questionable shots
Can tend to be a ball stopper on offense
Needs to improve his rebounding
Can struggle to guard quicker players
Not a true point guard, but is undersized to play the two

Summary:
Tyson Etienne is a skilled combo guard that can shoot and score the basketball.  He had a very good sophomore season on a solid Wichita State team. On the downside, his shot selection can tend to be spotty at times, and he doesn’t always get his teammates involved on offense. Currently, Etienne projects to be a second round prospect for the 2022 draft.
