Must add strength
Old for a draft prospect, may have limited upside
Summary:
Tariq Owens is an athletic, high-motor big man that can finish numerous plays above the rim, and he also can stretch the floor as a shooter from beyond the arc. His shot blocking skills and defensive skills could enable him to be a plus-level interior defender at the next level, but he will need to improve his rebounding and skill set on offense.
He played very well in his team’s win over USC, and Owens has an interesting skill set that could allow him to make an NBA team’s summer league roster in 2019.
