During the 2020-21 season, Shahada Wells had a tremendous performance in the season opener in Texas-Arlington’s loss to Oklahoma State in a game that featured potential top pick, Cade Cunningham for the 2021 draft, and Wells managed to score 21 points and he also tabulated 6 rebounds and 5 steals for his team.
In that game, Wells made a highlight reel-worthy dunk early on, thrived as a scorer in transition and defender on the court, and he put forth a dazzling performance by consistently making terrific plays on both ends of the court. He had a solid junior season and has since transferred to TCU, and Wells could be a potential sleeper for the 2022 draft.
