Solid defender that can rack up steals
Very good shot blocker

Needs to improve his face-up game
Not an elite ball handler, is turnover prone

Summary:

Paul Reed is a very athletic big man that had a fairly solid sophomore season last year at DePaul.  He can get scores in the paint and also grab rebounds, and he is also a solid defender that can block many shots to help his team protect the paint.

On the downside, he will need to show that he can make jumpers on a consistent basis and improve his playmaking skills.  Right now, Reed projects to go in the late first to the second round range for the 2020 draft.
