Birthdate: 5/21/2003

2022 Top 100 Prospect Rank: 21

2022 NBA Draft: Round 1, Pick 11 by the New York Knicks
(Rights traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder)

Pros:
Decent scorer off the dribble
Excels at scoring on off-ball motion plays
Adequate playmaker
Decent rebounder
Adequate defender
Very good athlete
Versatile player that can play multiple positions

Cons:
Needs to improve his shooting
Struggles to score in traffic
Can tend to be a ball-stopper on offense
Not an elite rebounder
Can be undisciplined defensively
Needs to improve his strength

Summary:
Ousmane Dieng is a very athletic point forward that can score and pass the basketball.  He showed promise during the NBL Blitz, but he struggled early on in the NBL regular season, before playing better later in the year. He will need to improve his jump shot and on-ball defense, but his size, athleticism, versatility, and upside could make him an intriguing candidate to go in the first round in the 2022 draft.
