Summary:
Marques Bolden is an athletic, big man that may project to be a defensive specialist in the NBA. He can provide points in the paint, as he may generally take smart shots from the field, and he also can block shots to provide some interior defense.
It will be important to see how well he plays throughout this college basketball season. So far, Bolden has played much better to start the year, he’s played solid interior defense, has consistently given great effort, and has shown a much better feel for the game than in previous seasons.
Bolden could profile into being a rim protector in the future, but he will first need to cut down on the number of mistakes he commits in games, as well as to find ways to stay on the floor. Right now, he could be a second round prospect for the 2019 draft.
