Adequate rebounder for his size
Adequate defender

Cons:

Can struggle to score in traffic
Can struggle against length and athleticism
Struggles to guard quicker players
Only an average athlete
A bit undersized for his position

Summary:

Marcus Zegarowski is a tough, gritty playmaker that can reliably run the point, and he is an effective game manager that can run his team’s offense.  He is a good shooter that excels at knocking down jump shots to provide floor spacing, and he also makes sound decisions with the ball in his hands.  He will need to show teams that he can consistently guard upper-echelon players on the defensive end.  Currently, he projects to be a second round prospect in the 2021 draft.
