Summary:
Malik Curry is an agile, skilled combo guard that played at Old Dominion before transferring to play at West Virginia for the 2021-22 season. He is a skilled scorer that excels at attacking the hoop to score the basketball. He thrives at scoring off mid-range jumpers and off the dribble, and he’ll throw his body around to draw fouls upon his defenders in order to get to the free throw line.
On the other hand, he will need to improve his three-point shot and show that he can reliably run the point, especially at higher levels. He may need to spend at least a season in the G-League and/or overseas to hone his game, but he is an athletic, microwave type of scorer that could carve out a solid playing career in professional basketball.
