Summary:

Makur Maker is an athletic big man that can score the basketball in a variety of ways, and he is also a solid rebounder.  He played two games at Howard during his freshman season before being shut down due to sustaining a groin injury.

Maker is an intriguing prospect, as he is a tall, athletic big man that can handle the basketball, and he can effectively score in the post, as well as from the mid-range.  He will need to be more assertive on offense and be a more consistent long-range shooter.

This year, Maker played in the NBL in Australia with the Sydney Kings, and he helped them win the NBL championship.  Currently, he is a second round prospect in the 2022 draft, and he is a skilled big man whose blend of size, skills, and versatility could potentially allow him to thrive as a role player in the NBA.
