Summary:
Leonardo Okeke is a fairly athletic, energetic big man that played in the second division, Italian League this year. He will make hustle plays to help shore up the interior, but he also will need to improve his jump shot, playmaking skills, and defense. Sometimes, he would tend to force the issue too much on offense, and he didn’t seem to show great court vision on the floor. He also would tend to leave shooters open too often on the defensive end. Right now, he will need to continue to hone and develop his game, and it may take awhile for him to be ready to play in the NBA. Currently, Okeke is a second round prospect for the 2023 draft.
