Updated as of 6/26/2022, scouting report written by Alan Lu.
2022 Rankings were finalized on 6/23/22.

Height: 6-4
Weight: 170
Country: Germany
Professional Team: ALBA Berlin
Classification: International ’00
Birthdate: 1/16/2000

Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Pros:

Decent shooter, especially from deep
Decent playmaker
Adept at collecting steals
Played in some of the toughest professional leagues

Cons:

Struggles to create his own shot
Can be too passive on offense
Needs to improve his rebounding
Can be foul prone
Only an average athlete

Summary:

Jonas Mattisseck is a skilled combo guard that can shoot and pass the basketball.  He had played well in his role in the Euroleague early on, and Mattisseck has shown some solid offensive skills in a veteran heavy league that is considered to be arguably the toughest in international basketball.

He got off to a good start when he first played in Euroleague, but he’s been streaky as a shooter ever since.  Right now, he will need to continue to hone his game overseas, and he projects to be a borderline second round candidate in the 2022 draft.
