Summary:
John Petty is an athletic, skilled swingman that projects to be a shooting specialist in the NBA. He is a good three-point shooter that moves well off the ball, and he also can run off screens to make shots from long-distance.
He also does a fairly good job of using off-ball movement to get additional scores on offense. However, he will need to improve in the other facets of the game. Right now, he projects to be a second round prospect for the 2021 draft.
