Summary:

Joao Pereira, also known as Mãozinha, is an athletic, energetic combo forward that is having a very good season in Brazil’s top league, the NBB.  He is a high-motor player that makes a lot of hustle plays on both ends of the floor, and he is a very good rebounder.  He will need to improve his outside shot and add more muscle to his frame to improve his positional versatility at higher levels, but Pereira’s production, motor, and emerging skill set could enable him to make his way to the NBA someday.
