Summary:
Jermaine Samuels is an athletic, energetic swingman that could project to be a 3 and D type of role player in the NBA.  He can score the basketball in a variety of ways, and he also has a knack for drawing fouls upon his defenders to get to the free throw line.  He’s flown under the radar, as he is a bit of a relative low volume offensive player, but he is also on one of the best teams in college basketball.  Recently, Samuels and his teammate Collin Gillespie returned to play for a fifth season at Villanova next year. Samuels has not shot the ball very well this season and he really struggled in his team’s loss to Baylor, but he could project into a 3 and D role at the NBA level if he is able to make it there one day.
