Classification: Senior
Birthdate: 10/20/1999

Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Pros:

Decent scorer off the dribble
Adequate shooter
Decent playmaker
Good rebounder for his size
Decent defender that can get steals
Above average athlete

Cons:

Streaky shooter
May lack an elite first step off the dribble
Can be too scoring focused on offense
May struggle to guard quicker players
Not an elite athlete
Not a true point guard, but is undersized to play the two

Summary:

Javon Freeman-Liberty is an agile, skilled combo guard that played at Valparaiso before later transferring to DePaul.  He can score the basketball in a variety of ways.  He will need to show that he can reliably run the point and also knock down shots on a consistent basis.  Currently, he projects to be a borderline second round candidate for the 2022 draft.
