Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Decent playmaker
Adequate rebounder for his size
Adequate defender
Adept at drawing charges
Above average athlete

Cons:
Needs to improve his shooting
Can struggle to score in traffic
Unselfish to a fault
Can be careless on offense, which can lead to turnovers
Does not always commit himself to the boards
Can gamble too much defensively, is foul prone
Not an elite athlete

Summary:
Jalen Tate is an agile, skilled point forward that can do a little bit of everything when he is on the floor at Arkansas.  He is having a solid senior season for his team this year, and his team is playing very well this year.  Tate has flown under the radar as a draft prospect and can sometimes fade into the background too much, but his size, playmaking, and defensive skills could allow him to compete for a roster spot in the NBA next season.
