Summary:
Jalen Hudson is an athletic swingman that made a name for himself after having a breakthrough tournament in the PK80 Classic last year. After having a very good junior season, it was thought that he could solidify a spot to be selected in the 2018 draft, but after not being invited to the combine, he elected to return back to school.
However, Hudson has been having an atrocious senior season. He’s posted abysmal shooting numbers, and his shooting percentages have cratered this year. Once thought to be a solid bet to be drafted, that does not look to be the case right now. Hudson needs to regain some semblance of the shooting touch he possessed as a junior, because at the trajectory he’s headed, he may be unworthy of a Portsmouth bid or NBA summer league invite due to his extreme inability to contribute much on offense right now.
