Herb Jones is a very athletic, highly energetic swingman that could project to be a defensive specialist at the next level. His slashing abilities allow him to take the ball to the basket to get scores, and he is also an unselfish player that has a point forward mentality.
He is also a rangy defender that can get his hands on balls and also get stops for his team. He will significantly need to improve his jump shot and be more assertive on offense. Jones has shown flashes of his potential throughout his college career, and he is starting to put it all together, as he ended up having a good senior season. He especially played well against other in-conference opponents this year, and he could end up being a second round pick in 2021.
