Updated on 6/26/22.  Written by Alan Lu.
2022 Rankings were finalized on 6/23/22.

Height: 6-10
Weight: 260
College: Richmond
Classification: Sixth-Year Senior
Birthdate: 1/15/1998

Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Pros:
Decent low post scorer
Adequate scorer off the dribble
Excels at scoring on off-ball motion plays
Solid playmaker
Adequate defender
Solid motor

Cons:
Needs to improve his outside shot
Not an elite rebounder
Not an elite shot blocker
Struggles to guard quicker players
Only an average athlete

Summary:
Grant Golden is a smart, skilled big man that is one of the best passing big men in college basketball.  He doesn’t have elite physical tools, but his high basketball IQ enables him to thrive as an offensive player in games.  He will need to show that he can consistently excel against more athletic players and he will need to be a consistent floor spacer at higher levels, but Golden’s basketball IQ and intangibles could allow him to make a team’s roster in the NBA.
